Biography

Maria R. Gerguis focuses her practice on insurance litigation and has dedicated her career to representing policyholders in disputes against insurance companies or corporate defendants. 

She has helped hundreds of policyholders recover insurance proceeds for claims arising from hurricanes, windstorms, hail, fires, tornadoes, floods, and more. From business to residential and commercial property owners, Maria has fought vigorously to make her clients whole.

Prior to joining Daly & Black, P.C., Maria worked as an attorney for a Houston-based plaintiffs’ insurance litigation firm where she was a member of their first-party insurance litigation practice group. Maria also has experience with mass tort cases, complex commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, and products liability. Maria is a passionate advocate dedicated to fighting for those wronged by corporate negligence.
