Biography

Clarissa Rivera is an attorney at Daly & Black and our Chair of Personal Injury Pre-Litigation, where her practice focuses on a wide range of civil litigation areas. Her principal focus is on obtaining the best verdicts and settlements her clients justly deserve while helping guide them through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

After graduating at the top of her class from Brownsville Early College High School, Clarissa attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated in three years with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Plan I Honors history and government, with a minor in Latin American Studies. After earning her undergraduate degrees and accepting a full-tuition scholarship, Clarissa promptly moved to San Francisco, California, to pursue her passion for advocacy at Golden Gate University School of Law before ultimately transferring and earning her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Houston Law Center.

During the course of her academic career, Clarissa held two legal positions in the public sector and interned at a criminal defense law firm. After being exposed to several practice areas, Clarissa redirected her legal experience and began working at a Houston-based plaintiffs’ personal injury law firm, where she gained valuable litigation experience and developed a deep passion for advocacy for injured people.

Clarissa’s commitment to her clients is unwavering, and she dedicates herself to ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve. Her strong academic background, combined with her practical legal experience, equips her to handle even the most challenging cases with confidence and expertise.

In her free time, she enjoys exercising, doing yoga, and playing with her toy Aussie, Cloudy. Her love for an active lifestyle and her dedication to her pet reflect her energetic and balanced approach to life, both personally and professionally.
