Biography

Maria R. Gerguis focuses her practice on insurance litigation and has dedicated her entire career to representing policyholders in disputes against insurance companies or corporate defendants.

She has helped hundreds of policyholders recover substantial insurance proceeds for claims arising from hurricanes, windstorms, hail, fires, tornadoes, floods, and more. Prior to joining Daly & Black, P.C., Maria worked as an attorney for a prominent Houston-based plaintiffs’ insurance litigation firm, where she was a valued member of their first-party insurance litigation practice group. In addition to her extensive experience in insurance litigation, Maria also has significant experience handling mass tort cases, complex commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, and products liability.
