Meet Colin Pogge, an experienced, top-shelf trial attorney known for approaching every case with initiative, strategic thinking, and a can-do attitude, valuable traits in shaping the outcome of trial.
Colin is excited to join Rick, John, and their exceptional team at Daly & Black and focus on helping those who’ve been seriously injured or treated unfairly. He’ll handle personal injury, first-party insurance, and other plaintiffs’-side tort and commercial cases.
Prior to becoming a shareholder at Daly & Black, Colin was a trial attorney and partner at Gibbs & Bruns LLP, an elite commercial litigation boutique, for over a decade. Representing both plaintiffs and defendants, Colin has gone to trial and spearheaded high-stakes and high-dollar litigation in cases spanning a wide variety of areas, including oil and gas, energy and environmental regulations, banking, ponzi schemes and other financial fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, real estate, commercial contracts, mass tort, entertainment, trade secrets, excessive use of force, and more.
Colin brings with him a work ethic shaped by his Midwest upbringing, and a commitment to excellence shaped by his days at the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor of the Texas Law Review, won awards in mock trial, and graduated with honors.
Colin’s leadership and dedication to justice are also evident outside the courtroom, where he’s an elected member of the HBA’s Board of Directors and actively involved in Teach For America’s Houston mission.
