Biography

Jillian Mershon is a trial attorney who specializes in Bad Faith Insurance Claims.  Her personal experience with the 1999 Bridge Creek-Moore tornado motivated her to want to serve her community by advocating for policyholders.  Jillian has experience dealing with insurance companies wrongfully denying claims, negotiating claims, and litigating to ensure policy holders receive fair compensation.  Jillian has represented policyholders in obtaining coverage for losses from tornados, wind, hail, and flood damage.  In addition to serving as a First Party Insurance Attorney, Jillian Mershon specializes in personal injury, employment law, and family law.

Jillian has represented clients in all phases of labor and employment law, including matters before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and regulatory agencies.  Jillian has extensive experience and knowledge of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Jillian has also assisted clients in tackling the Oklahoma Unemployment Security Commission and handling wage and hour disputes.

Jillian Merson has extensive knowledge and experience representing clients in divorces, paternity actions, victim protection orders, custody modifications, adoptions, name changes, and guardianships.
