Biography
Crystal Lathrop is a paralegal at Daly & Black with more than 20 years of experience supporting attorneys in complex litigation matters. Her practice focuses on first-party claims, personal injury, and mass tort litigation.
Crystal began her legal career in 2003 as a litigation paralegal in Illinois while attending Rockford Business College. In 2006, she graduated summa cum laude with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
In 2007, Crystal relocated to New Orleans and joined Klotz & Early, where she built a distinguished 15-year career working alongside Chief Municipal Judge Sean P. Early. During this time, she assisted in managing workers’ compensation and personal injury cases while supporting attorneys through every phase of litigation—from initial case intake through resolution. Over the course of her career, Crystal has developed extensive expertise in case management, litigation support, and coordinating complex matters through each stage of the legal process.
She also spent more than three years working on sexual assault litigation involving rideshare companies, including cases against Lyft, assisting attorneys with highly sensitive and complex matters that required careful case management and meticulous attention to detail.
A New Orleans resident since 2007, Crystal enjoys growing pineapples, exploring the city, listening to local music, and spending time with her cat, Laveaux.
