Biography
Claudia Douglas is a Personal Injuries Paralegal/Legal Practitioner at Daly & Black. Born in Queensland, Australia, she holds a dual degree comprising of a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the Queensland University of Technology.
During her undergraduate studies, Claudia gained invaluable experience under the guidance of esteemed barrister-at-law, Dr. Kevin Roche, assisting in the preparation of litigated personal injury matters. She further developed her professional skills through internships with leading accountancy and law firms, including BDO and MinterEllison.
Following her undergraduate studies, Claudia completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law and was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of Queensland.
In 2022, Claudia commenced practice with Littles Lawyers, where she specialized in a broad range of tort matters, including workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, public liability claims, fatalities and dependency claims, catastrophic and severe injuries, institutional and child sexual abuse matters, product liability, medical negligence, as well as asbestosis, silicosis, and boating and aviation cases. Her practice extended across multiple jurisdictions, including Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia.
Despite her expertise in complex and high-value claims, Claudia is dedicated to assisting all clients, from those with minor injuries to those facing the most serious and life-changing circumstances.
Outside of her legal practice, Claudia enjoys Pilates and outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking. Having grown up on acreage horse riding, she has a strong connection with animals and is devoted to her seven (7) dogs. Her diverse interests reflect her well-rounded character and passion for both her profession and personal life.
