Biography
Ashley is an attorney at Daly & Black, focusing on personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. She brings a unique perspective from her extensive background as a clinician and healthcare leader.
Ashley began her career as an Emergency and Trauma Nurse at a Level I Trauma Center in Dallas. She quickly advanced through leadership roles including Trauma Manager, Director of Lean Improvement, Senior Vice President of Operations and Compliance Officer. She holds two graduate degrees and a doctorate in nursing, is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Ashley is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, where she was a member of the Mock Trial Team and gained experience through internships at the Dallas County and Harris County District Attorneys’ Offices, working in Appellate, Child Fatality, and Felony Trial, as well as being a law clerk with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Texas in the Fraud section of the Criminal division.
Ashley is dedicated to advocating for those injured and hurt, and her background distinctly equips her to handle complex cases. She is also passionate for causes supporting victims and law enforcement.
As a Houston transplant, Ashley is always open to suggestions for coping with Houston drivers and finding effective hair tips for Houston weather.
