This week, our Daly & Black team partnered with Bread of Life Houston and TWU Local 556 for a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive in downtown Houston. The goal was simple. We wanted to support TSA workers and other Hobby airport employees who were affected by the recent government shutdown and may be facing a tougher holiday season.
The event took place at the Bread of Life building, and together we were able to hand out 100 turkeys to workers and their families. It was a morning filled with a lot of gratitude and a lot of community. People shared stories, checked in on one another, and reminded us just how strong Houston truly is.
What meant the most to our team were the small moments. A smile from someone who did not expect help. A thank-you from a worker who has been showing up every day despite all the uncertainty. These are the people who keep our airports running and keep travelers safe, and we were honored to show even a small amount of appreciation.
We want to give a very heartfelt thank-you to Bread of Life Houston and TWU Local 556. Their dedication to helping local families made this event possible. It was a privilege to work alongside them.
From all of us at Daly & Black, happy Thanksgiving.
