Odessa Hailstorm Causes Nearly $500 Million in Damages

A recent 30-minute-long hailstorm in Odessa caused close to $500 million in damages, according to estimates from the Insurance Council of Texas. That includes substantial damages to over 35,000 vehicles and thousands of commercial and residential properties. The hailstorm, which produced hail the size of grapefruits and saw wind speeds in excess of 60 mph, caused some of the most extensive damage of any storm in recent memory in the Midland-Odessa area.

If you have experienced property damage of any type as a result of the Odessa hailstorm, it is important you know right rights when dealing with insurance adjusters. Storms like this cause billions of dollars in damages across the country every year, which means insurance companies or corporate defendants aren’t always quick or keen on immediately making payouts. However, when they wrongfully deny, delay, or underpay policy holders with valid claims, they can be held accountable.

Our hail damage attorneys have extensive experience representing clients when they face off against powerful insurance companies or corporate defendants following hailstorms, natural disasters, and weather-related damages. We know that hailstorms have the potential to completely upend one’s life, and create considerable financial and emotional hurdles. Whether you are a homeowner or a business owner, you need to protect your biggest investments and work with legal professionals who have your best interests at heart.

At Daly & Black, P.C., we have succeeded for our clients because we do put their best interests at heart, and because we leverage the experience and resources needed to level the playing field between clients and the insurance companies or corporate defendants they face off against. We know the common tactics they use to deny, delay, or underpay claims, the insurance laws in regulating their conduct with policy holders, and how to help homeowners, business owners HOAs, and government entities with claims against their insurance provider.

Remember, the insurance company is not always on your side, which makes it critical to protect your rights and interests with the right professionals. Discuss your claim with a member of our legal team during a FREE case evaluation. Contact us to get started.
