On May 8, 2015 our firm, along with the Loyd Law Firm, of San Antonio, Texas, obtained a breach of contract verdict against an insurance company that failed to honor its agreement with a Houston policyholder. In addition to finding a breach of contract, and awarding damages, the jury awarded New Deliverance Fellowship Ministries a significant amount of attorneys’ fees, clearly recognizing the amount of time and effort the lawyers spent fighting the insurer. The verdict was returned by a jury serving in Judge Ward’s Court in the 234 th Judicial District Court of Harris County, Texas.
