Marissa joined the team at Daly & Black PC as a Paralegal in 2016.
In her role, she assists in different phases of litigation, from discovery
to the trial process. A goal oriented and detailed individual, Marissa
thrives in a fast-paced environment and strives to add significant value
to the group dynamic at Daly & Black PC. Marissa is eager to take
on any challenge and looks forward to helping clients navigate through
the complexities of their cases. Her knowledge and experience, paired
with a positive attitude, provides clients with ease as she stays on top
of activity and communicates any updates throughout case progression.
Prior to joining Daly & Black PC, Marissa led the paralegal department
at a small construction based law firm, where she gained knowledge and
experience in variety of practice areas, including insurance, construction,
business and family law. Developing a strong interest in law early on,
Marissa studied criminal justice before finding a career in paralegal
work. Marissa holds an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies from
Wharton County Jr. College.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music and podcasts,
spending time with her family and cheering on her favorite football team,
the Dallas Cowboys. Originally from Bay City, TX, Marissa moved to Phoenix,
AZ for a few years, before moving back down south to Dallas, TX and eventually
settling down in Houston, TX.
