Karen Satriano is a paralegal for Daly & Black, P.C. Her exceptional
organizational skills and keen eye for detail along with her love for
managing projects from initiation to completion make her a key team player.
She believes it is important to give support to the attorneys while at
the same time providing help and care to the clients. She is excited to
be on this journey and is glad to have found an environment in which everyone
works together creating a positive outcome.
Before joining Daly & Black, P.C., Karen had an array of working experiences.
She began her career as a legal secretary for Fulbright & Jaworski,
one of the largest law firms in the United States. She also had the opportunity
to work at Reynolds, Allen & Cook, where she impacted the successful
launching of a nationally recognized bond practice in a highly competitive
community. Karen continued her passion for the public finance sector at
Mayor Day & Caldwell, where her skills were put to good use in the
expanding practice of public finance. She then broadened her horizons
by venturing into the field of investment banking by working as an office
manager at a regional firm, Geo. K. Baum & Co. However, the highlight
of her legal career was working in the City Attorney’s office for
the City of Houston. There she had the opportunity to interface with many
leaders and citizens of our great city.
Karen is a long-time resident of Houston and enjoys all the city has to
offer. You will find her every weekend on her road bike discovering new
bike trails in and around Houston. When she is not biking or practicing
yoga, she is playing with her beloved dog, Barkley.
Karen’s other interests include health and well-being. Among her
other career choices, she owned and operated a Pilates, Gyrotonic, and
Yoga studio in Southern California and currently enjoys teaching yoga
here in Houston. She has a passion for empowering others to find what
is possible on and off their mat and is committed to bringing the same
empowerment to the clients at Daly & Black, P.C.
