Prior to joining Daly & Black, Cindy was a part of the Decundi team,
an oil and chemical equipment inspection company, where she worked as
a project coordinator and often assisted with field Inspections. In her
pursuit to broaden and gain additional knowledge, Cindy accepted a position
with World Wide Metric as a billing associate where she exceled.
Volunteering and helping others is one of Cindy’s passions, which
is why she can be found doing community outreach every first Saturday
of the month where she is in charge of making donation bags. Reading is
another passion that Cindy embraces. Being an avid reader, it is no surprise
that she is involved in many book clubs. She believes every child should
have access to a library, so she has partnered with “Free Little
Library” to have one built in her neighborhood park to promote literacy.
As a settlement coordinator, Cindy has the responsibility of performing
in-depth research across multiple systems, accessing supporting documentation
in order to accurately process settlements, preparing accurate settlement
statements and/or disbursing statement, communicating with mortgage companies,
managing and data entry of all settlements to the firm’s database,
and tracking all post-settlements prior to closing client files. Cindy’s
detail-oriented and adaptability to Daly & Black’s high-volume
and fast-paced environment is a major plus.
Cindy was born in Honduras, but has lived in Texas since the young age
of four. Cindy’s excellent bilingual skills are also a major asset
to Daly & Black in translating and interpreting for its Spanish-speaking
Cindy is married to Jon, who is extremely supportive of all her endeavors.
