Cheryl joined the Daly & Black team in 2017. In her role as a paralegal,
she assists in different phases of litigation, from discovery to the trial
process. Cheryl has a passion for the law and for helping people. She
is eager use her knowledge and experience to offer top-notch support to
the attorneys, while also connecting with clients in order to help them
navigate the details and progress of their cases. Backed by her optimistic
attitude and strong work ethic, she is ready and willing to do what it
takes to help the Daly & Black attorneys get the best outcomes for
A native Texan, Cheryl hails from Pasadena. She moved to Maryland after
high school, where she attended Towson University, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Cheryl discovered her love of the law when she took business law classes as her 4th year electives. In 2015, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree
in Psychology. After graduation, she returned to the Houston area, where
she followed her passion and began her legal career as a Client Specialist
for Arnold & Itkin, LLP, a highly rated personal injury law firm.
There, Cheryl worked closely with the firm’s clients, often being
the main point of contact. During her time at Arnold & Itkin, Cheryl
pursued and completed, the Paralegal Certificate program at the University
of Houston. After earning her paralegal certificate, she transitioned
to a Case Assistant role at Seyfarth Shaw, LLP, one of the largest law
firms in the United States. There, she had the opportunity to offer in-depth
trial support for several jury trials.
In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones,
and spoiling her three rescued fur-babies.
